What is Wowbit (WWB)

WWB (Wowbit) is the token of the WOWOO ecosystem, operated by abc Inc., a company listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. The ecosystem records acts of goodwill - a merchant thanking a customer, a vow exchanged between two people, or a thank-you pinned at a verified physical location on THANKS Map - and burns WWB against each recorded act. Supply is reduced by the act of giving rather than by a buyback, and no party receives the burned tokens.

Every burn is metered by the BurnRouterV2 contract on Optimism, which emits a reason code identifying which kind of act triggered it. The record of what was burned and why is therefore public and can be re-counted directly from the chain by any third party.

WWB is issued on Optimism at 0x03cc5feF38896537c10Fcb30A53A1B12be101da6 and is bridged to Robinhood Chain through a LayerZero OFT, backed 1:1 by WWB locked in the Optimism adapter. The Robinhood Chain side is governed by a 2-of-3 multisig Safe. Merchants in the ecosystem settle in fiat, and end users are not required to acquire the token in order to take part.
