The cryptocurrency projects that generated the most revenue in the last 30 days have been revealed. Projects operating in many different categories, from stablecoin issuers to blockchain networks, decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols to derivatives exchanges, managed to generate hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue.
Stablecoin giant Tether once again topped the list, while projects like Tron and Circle also achieved impressive revenue figures. Platforms such as Hyperliquid, Sky, and Polymarket stood out particularly with their recent growth.
Tether, the issuer of USDT, continued its dominance. The company’s revenue stream comes primarily from interest on its reserve holdings. In the past month, it generated an estimated $1 billion in revenue. Circle, the company behind USDC, followed with around $200 million. Tron, a blockchain network popular for USDT transfers, also reported strong numbers, earning roughly $150 million from transaction fees.
Other notable names include the decentralized exchange Hyperliquid, which brought in about $60 million. The prediction market platform Polymarket saw a surge in activity, earning $30 million. Projects like Sky (formerly MakerDAO) and the derivatives exchange dYdX also made the list, each reporting over $20 million in revenue.
This data shows that revenue in crypto is concentrated among a few key players. Stablecoins continue to be the most profitable sector. But the rise of newer platforms like Polymarket suggests that niche applications can still capture meaningful revenue. However, I think investors should be cautious. Revenue figures don’t always tell the full story. High revenue doesn’t guarantee long-term sustainability or token value. Market conditions can change quickly.
This list is not investment advice. It’s simply a snapshot of which projects are generating cash flow right now. The crypto landscape evolves fast, so what works today might not work tomorrow. Always do your own research before making any financial decisions.
