From Madriaga to Mary Grace Piattos: Prosecution’s witnesses in Sara Duterte trial

MANILA, Philippines – The prosecution team has listed more than 50 witnesses in the upcoming impeachment trial of Vice President Sara Duterte.

The name ranges from Duterte’s alleged former bagman Ramil Madriaga, to the infamous Mary Grace Piattos, a signatory in one of the Office of the Vice President’s (OVP) confidential fund receipts.

The list is contained in the prosecution’s pre-trial brief, a copy of which Rappler obtained from numerous trusted sources.

The list may still be reduced after the conclusion of pre-trial proceedings.

On Article I: Alleged misuse of confidential funds
